It's just so good to be back to Singapore after a long camp of 4 days 3 nights in pulua ubin, though it is really tiring going through those fantastic events i really learnt alot throughout the camp.We went to the jetty hoping to be on a ferry as what they said but when we got there we saw a bum boat its just too bad but to take it to puluaubin. It is kind of noisy and the next thing you know after it set off you will be swaying from left to right this will carry on for around 10 mins until you reach puluaubin.During the journey our form teacher Ms Ng was so excited in taking the bum boat and kept taking pictures off whatever she saw and worst is that she even took pictures of us.lol,we reach puluaubin after the deafening boat ride that was glamorous and slowly stroll to the campsite. We met 2 instructors in charge of our group and they were Asyraf and Yana their enthusiastic spirits influence us as it is very contagious .On the first day we did the low element that needed alot of teamwork as the objective is to walk through the metal wire with five person a team and the rest as the supporters. It really need alot of focusing and communication in other to coordinate the movement. After that we had another event call "Ubin Bash"which we had to walk from our campsite to Ubin town to find out some details of Ubin.In the night our group was the first to try out on sleeping in the outside in the wild with only our sleeping bags. On the second day,we woke up at 4.30am pack up our stuff and walk back to our campsite and reach back there at around 7 am and had to wash up quickly to prepared for the next activities. The next activity was the raft making whereby we had to make our own raft by using the ropes, barrel and long pipes supply by them. After we build our raft we went to try it out in the near by lagoon and unfortunately everything broke apart after some time in the water. After hat we had rock climbing and one of the teachers were there to cheer for us nothing much really happen during this activities. In the night we had a event of jetty jump to jump from a height at the jetty and quickly swim back to shore it was very exhilarating.
Team Challenge Pyramid
On the third day,was rather the best as we had to overcome fears of heights and to try on the high elements and well as there was not enough time we were split into two groups one to the log walk and the other walk the rope walk.i tried the rope walk and it was really fun and challenging as there are only 4 rope above you and you had to cross it with only those ropes.Later in the day we tried the team challenge pyramid whereby we had to be spilt into groups of 5 and go through the 3 obstacles around the pyramid and slowly climb up to the top and through the flying fox which was about 7-8 storey high and slide down with the wind blowing against your direction.Later in the night we also had a night walk and only yourself to walk through the road of puluaubin with only light sticks guiding you and everything else was just pitch black in the night and this was to build confidence in yourself.
On the last day we went back taking the same bum boat ride and only to see the campsite fading away from our distance. Its really memorable and the experience after the camp is really wonderful.
